Nikki was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. When she was less than a year old, she was exposed to the 10th Anniversary Concert of Les Miserables and a passion was born. Starting her musical theatre training at fifteen years old, she worked with many educational companies throughout Metro-Atlanta and coached with several of Atlanta’s top directors and music directors, like Justin Anderson of the Aurora Theatre and Judy Cole. A year after starting her training in musical theatre, Nikki was absolutely thrilled to be crowned “National Miss Access Broadway”, their award for the best triple threat performer.
During her late teens, she started “commuting” between New York and Atlanta, landing her first New York theatre credit as “Nunu” in the first reading of “Carol of Carroll Gardens” at only eighteen years old. A year later, she made the big move to New York City. Two months after the move, she made her Off-Broadway debut in “The Wizard of Oz” at the Producer’s Club as “Dorothy”.
Quickly after “The Wizard of Oz”, she was cast in her first professional film doing featured background work as a “Soonami Tech” in “Free Guy”. This experience not only gave Nikki SAG-AFTRA membership, but ignited a love of film and television work that she never knew was possible.
Immediately after wrapping “Free Guy”, Nikki returned to New York City to originate the leading role of “Cindy”, the quirky girl we follow through a new re-telling of a Cinderella story, “Ssswitch”.
Her acting journey would quickly bring her back to the Boston area to film “CODA”, a new movie directed and written by Sian Heder, of “Orange is the New Black” fame. This was her first supporting role, and she couldn’t have been more excited! “CODA” is now available on Apple TV+ and in theatres.
Nikki was thrilled to learn that she would be making her network television debut as the “Babysitter” in the season four finale of “Bull” on CBS! She was ecstatic to spend two days on set getting to observe and learn from wonderful actors like MacKenzie Meehan, and especially from director Dennis Smith, who made this opportunity possible.
During the pandemic, Nikki started to dabble in the world of voice-over, and could not be more honored to get to bring to life the character of “Nim” in “Nim: The Last Red Witch”, coming to Amazon Prime.
Nowadays, Nikki spends a lot of her time traveling back and forth from the many cities she’s based out of, including New York, Boston, Atlanta, DC, Dallas, and Cincinnati. Nikki is represented by Innovative Artists in NY and LA and East Coast Talent in the Southeast.
When not on set, in a practice room, in class, or auditioning, Nikki can usually be found smiling at every dog she sees, ice skating, reveling in the nostalgia of an episode of Spongebob Squarepants, or chanting with the 17s at an Atlanta United game.
